Psy-Trance
duo Uni hail from Kyoto, Japan, where they are regarded as one of the
top live Trance acts on the Japanese Techno festival circuit. Uni’Äôs CDs
are still difficult to find outside of the Land of the Rising Sun, but
their pulsing goa-edged bass rhythmic sound with live percussion can be
experienced in this video.
The first 16-minutes showcases some of the latest computer-graphics created by VJ Aix, mixed to Uni's Spotted Mesa (Regular and Let’Äôs Be Bird Mix by Masa).
The next half-hour mixes heavily-effected video shots of Uni's live
performances with computer graphics by VJ Aix released originally in
the 1998 Japanese debut video, UNI: TRANCE 1.0, which sold out its
first production run in Japan and features the Uni tracks Piece of Five, Sarasvati and Aion.
